Second Graders Recite Martin Luther King Jr.'s “I Have a Dream” Speech

In the lead-up to Black History Month, students in Ms. Perone's Second Grade class studied the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his iconic “I Have a Dream” speech. After exploring unfamiliar words in the speech and practicing it together as a class, they presented it to the entire Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools. This annual tradition helps our second graders build public speaking skills while bringing Dr. King’s words to life. Here they are, sharing “I Have a Dream” with all of you.
