It’s as easy as adding the language below to your will and completing our Planned Gift Intentions Form.

Specific Gift Amount Language:
I/we maintain that Rutgers Preparatory School is receiving $X or X% (and the current approximate value of this X% is $X) through my will/trust/insurance/retirement plan. It is my/our intent that the gift will be used for [Insert Purpose]. I/we understand that this is not a contract and not legally binding on my/our estate(s). It is meant to confidentially notify Rutgers Prep of my/our intentions and the approximate value of my/our gift so that Rutgers Prep may acknowledge my support accordingly.

Residual Language:
I/we give and devise to Rutgers Prep all (or state a percentage) of the rest, residue, and remainder of my/our estate, both real and personal, to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific fund or program).

Contingency Language:
If (insert name) is not living at the time of my/our demise, I/we give and devise to Rutgers Prep, the sum of $ (or all or a percentage of the residue of my/our estate) to be used for its general support (or for the support of a specific fund or program).
