Mikayla Blakes ’24 and her brother Jaylen Blakes were the talk of the college basketball world last weekend. Both hit game-winning buzzer beaters just one day apart, earning wins for their teams in spectacular fashion. Mikayla’s rebound and put-back with 0.8 seconds left sealed Vanderbilt’s upset over No. 15 Tennessee, while Jaylen’s jumper with 1.5 seconds on the clock secured a win for Stanford over North Carolina.
